About Anthony Crawford

Anthony Crawford started in public safety as a Firefighter/Engineer/EMT in Northern California while working for Tosco and Shell Refineries as a Safety Officer/EMT. Now at Kaiser Permanente for 25 years, his focus has been on environment of care, emergency management, respiratory protection, industrial hygiene, hazardous materials & wastes, and injury illness prevention. Anthony has been responsible for training countless healthcare teams in mass decon, hazmat spill response, HICS, and Hospital Command Center operations. Anthony holds a Bachelors''s and Masters''s degree in Healthcare Administration and is designated as a Certified Healthcare Facilities Manager and Environmental Manager. He serves the California Society for Healthcare Engineering as a State Executive Board Officer and as an NCAL chapter President. In 2021, Anthony was named a Regional Emerging Leader by the American Society for Healthcare Engineering. While not at work, Anthony enjoys family time, golfing, winetasting, and food blogging (it''s all about hot dogs)!
